The GardePro X66 Pro is equipped with advanced features like Live View and On-Demand, allowing you to stream real-time images or request instant photos/videos directly through the app.
These functions require a stable cellular connection and naturally consume more power than regular trail cameras, especially with frequent use.
If you notice that your camera’s battery drains faster than expected, please try the following tips:
-
Reduce Live View and On-Demand usage
Each activation establishes a real-time network session, which increases power consumption. - Adjust the camera’s upload mode
Go to App → Camera Settings → Cellular Instant, turn it OFF, and set a Transfer Interval (e.g., 2H, 4H, 12H).
This will make the camera upload photos at scheduled times instead of instantly, which saves significant battery power.
⚠️ Note: While Cellular Instant is OFF, Live View cannot be used. Turn it back ON to resume Live functionality. -
Optimize GPS frequency
By default, the GPS location syncs once per day.
You can change this in App → Camera Settings → GPS Interval to every 3 or 7 days.
The camera also supports real-time GPS requests, but avoid frequent use to conserve battery. -
Use solar power for extended runtime
The X66 Pro includes a built-in 7800mAh lithium battery.
For long-term or high-frequency operation, pair it with a GardePro SP350 or SP1000 Solar Panel (sold separately) to maintain continuous power.
✅ Note: We continuously optimize the firmware and power management system to improve efficiency in future updates.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support of GardePro.
