Due to recent network upgrades by local mobile operators, some cameras may be unable to connect to the network, preventing activation.
If you have reached this page via guidance from our customer service, an in-app pop-up, or an email link, it means your camera’s 4G module requires an update to ensure compatibility with local networks.
On this page, you will find the 4G module update file and step-by-step instructions. Please follow them to complete the update and restore normal network connectivity for your camera.

1. Check the camera template version information
Enter the menu item and click "Celutar Info", As shown in (Figure 1), If the first six characters of "Adapter" are "EG915U" and end with "211", an upgrade is required, As shown in (Figure 2).
If not, no upgrade is required.

2. Copy module upgrade package
We need to put the SD card into our camera, Enter the menu item and click"Format SD Card" ,As shown in (Figure 3).Then press OK to format the SD card,As shown in (Figure 4).

2.2 Connect to a computer
Connect it to the computer via a data cable,As shown in (Figure 5). or insert the SD card into a card reader and connect it to the computer,As shown in (Figure 6).

2.3 Copy the upgrade file
Copy the module file named "EG915UEUABR03A01M08_01.211.01.211-01.200.01.200.pack" to the root directory of the SD card.

Note: If you connected the device to a computer via a USB cable to copy the module files, after the module files have been successfully copied, disconnect the USB cable. The device will automatically power on and illuminate the screen.
If you connected the device to a computer via an SD card reader to copy the module files, after the module files have been successfully copied, insert the SD card into the camera's SD card slot.
3. Start Upgrading
3.1 Enter the upgrade interface
Press the "MENU" button to enter the menu interface, click "Advanced Settings", as shown in (Figure 7), find "Modem Upgrade", as shown in (Figure 8). Press the OK button, press OK again to begin the upgrade as shown in (Figure 9).
Note: Ensure the battery level is above 20% before upgrading, and do not disconnect the power during the process.

3.2 Upgrade in progress
The upgrade interface is displayed, as shown in (Figure 10). The upgrade process takes about 3 minutes. After the upgrade is successful, restart the camera according to the on-screen prompts, as shown in (Figure 11).

4. Confirm upgrade information
4.1 Restore factory settings
After restarting the camera, press the menu button to enter the menu interface, find the "Restore Factory Settings" menu, as shown in the (Figure12). And then press the OK button to confirm the factory reset, as shown in the (Figure13).

4.2 Confirm the module version again
Please turn off then turn on the camera to reboot.
Press the menu button to enter the menu interface and open the "Celutar Info" menu item, as shown in the (Figure14). Confirm that "Adapter" changes to: EG915UEUABR03A01 M08_ 01.200.01.200, as shown in the (Figure15). Indicating that the module upgrade was successful.
