Regarding the solar panels, GardePro currently has two models that are compatible with different camera models, not to be mixed: SP 300 and SP 350.
GardePro's solar panels do not depend on the voltage level to determine whether they are suitable for a particular model, but rather on the type of battery used in the camera. If the camera you purchase uses 8 AA batteries, you will need to purchase the SP 350, and if it uses a rechargeable Li-Ion 8000mAh battery, you will need to purchase the SP 300.
The reason for this is:
The 5200mA Li-Ion battery built into the SP 350 stores the power converted from the sun directly in the solar panel, rather than storing it directly in the 8 AA batteries, and when the 8 AA batteries run low, they are recharged from the power stored in the solar panel. This is safer. Therefore, the SP 350 is therefore only compatible with camera models that use 8 AA batteries, e.g. A3S, A3, E5S, E6, E7, E8, E9, X20, X20WF, X50, X50MB.
The SP 300 does not contain a built-in lithium battery and therefore cannot store power directly, which means that if you are using a camera with 8 AA batteries, it works by transferring the power converted from solar energy directly to the AA batteries, which is risky and can cause damage to the camera. The SP 300 is only compatible with camera models using 8000 mAh rechargeable lithium batteries, such as the E6P, E8P, E8PWF, E8PCF, E9P, X60P, X60PMB, X60P Live Max.
Camera operating principle:
The solar panel SP 300, converts solar energy directly into power and stores it in the camera's 8000 mAh rechargeable lithium battery; the solar panel SP 300 does not store power directly itself.
Solar Panel SP 350 with built-in 5200 mAh Li-ion battery. Directly converts solar energy into electricity and stores it in the built-in 5200 mA lithium battery of the solar panel, the solar panel SP 350 itself allows direct storage of electricity, when the solar panel SP 350 and the camera are working at the same time, power is provided by the solar panel and supports the camera's work; when the solar panel SP 350 is not working, and the built-in lithium battery is stored, depending on the level of the camera's own battery power. When the solar panel SP 350 is not in operation and the built-in lithium battery has stored power, the power stored in the lithium battery of the solar panel SP 350 will provide power for the camera according to the level of the battery power of the camera itself and the voltage supplied to the camera to determine who will provide power. If the camera's own 8 AA batteries are sufficiently charged and the voltage is sufficient, the camera's own batteries continue to provide the charge, and the power in the solar panel SP 350 waits until the camera is at a low battery level to be recharged.
