How to test if the camera's motion detection function works

The GardePro models with "OFF" and "ON" switching buttons only.

(note:If you need to test whether it works properly at night, the same operation method, just turn off the surrounding lights, in a dark environment.)

Step 1, Slide the button to "ON".

Step 2, Click the "MENU" button to enter the setting interface.

Step 3, Click "Motion Test" to enter the test mode.

Step 4, Wait for the number on the screen to go to zero, when "PIR trigger" appears on the screen, it enters the test mode, and at the same time the front of the camera will light up red (you can wait for a while).

(note:A digital countdown screen will appear when the function is used for the first time or if it has not been used for a long time, but it is not necessary to wait for the screen to appear every time, just make sure the "PIR Trigger" and the red light appear)

Step 5:  After waiting for the red light to come on, please keep the camera placed smoothly and simulate the actual shooting situation by keeping a distance of more than 6 feet/2 meters from the camera, moving in front of the camera, and then checking if there are any captured photos.

(note:You can get closer, but we recommend that you simulate a real-world situation for more accurate test results.)

Step 6: Click the "OK" button to exit the test mode.
