Principle: You need to understand that the activation failure of your camera may be due to the current carrier of the cellular SIM card in your camera being incorrect, and therefore, you need to switch to an appropriate carrier for your camera. 1. Check the camera model
First, you need to select the correct content based on the region applicable to your camera model (if your camera model does not match the region you are using it in, please contact GardePro customer service). Click “How to check camera model” to learn more:

Determine if the camera module supports switching carriers directly in the camera.
Enter the camera menu, click “Cellular info” to check your camera module.
a. If your camera module ends with 004.
If your camera module ends with 004, as shown in the image, it does not support switching carriers in the camera.Therefore, you need to remove the SIM card and manually switch to the correct carrier on a phone. For specific steps, please browse—How to switch to the correct IMSI on a phone.

IOS IMSI switching process: “Settings” — “Cellular” — “SIM Applications” — “Multi IMSI” — “Select Mode” — “Manual” — select the appropriate carrier.

b. If your camera module ends with 009.
If your camera module ends with 009, as shown in the image, you need to check if your camera version is above V6.2.97. If so, you can switch IMSI directly in the camera. If your version is below V6.2.97, please upgrade your camera version. Click “version” to check your current camera version. If your camera module starts with EG915UEABR 02, as shown in the image, it does not support switching carriers in the camera.
